Integrally moulded threads are used to produce strong, detachable joints in a large number of housing parts. Applications include filter housings, valves and screw caps. They can also be employed successfully for joints that convert linear into rotary motion and vice versa. This brochure contains characteristic values that provide an aid to designing integrally moulded threads. Typical calculation examples and design notes are given. In addition, the brochure contains examples of applications.
